Are Stretta countertops available in 12’ lengths?
No, Stretta worktops are not currently available in 12’ lengths. To achieve a longer than 10’ length, please refer to our installation guide or video on how to connect the worktops together.
What does full-thickness and balanced construction mean?
Unlike other traditional laminate worktops, the underside of the Stretta worktop is finished allowing the worktop to be balanced, resulting in less warping over time. Because Stretta features a balanced construction, it can also be used in other applications such as shelving. The term full-thickness refers to Stretta’s design. Most laminate countertops are 0.75” thick, have a build down edge, and an unfinished backside. Stretta is 1-1/8” thick from the front edge to the back of the worktop and has a finished back.
Are Stretta countertops the exact listed length?
Great question! Our worktops are guaranteed to be a minimum of length listed, but they come slightly oversized. We provide them at an oversized length to allow consumers with extra length incase any damage occurs.
What is the thickness of Stretta countertops?

How do I care for Stretta worktops?
Stretta worktops are low-maintenance—clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, avoiding abrasive cleaners for best results.

Is an installation kit required to install the Stretta worktop?
The Stretta installation kit is only necessary for the 6’ and 10’ mitered worktops. The installation kit enables you to connect the mitered worktops together.
What type of sink can I use with Stretta countertops?
Drop-in and Farmhouse Style sinks are recommended for Stretta worktops. Undermount sinks are not recommended.
What type of saw do I need to use to cut Stretta worktops?
We strongly recommend using a circular saw with a fine tooth saw blade, approximately 140 teeth per inch

Does the Stretta endcap kit include two endcaps?
Yes! The endcap kit includes two endcaps, one for each side of countertop with extra length for the backsplash sides if desired.
Does the Stretta backsplash come with endcaps to finish the exposed ends?
No, the Stretta Endcap kit is sold separately and includes extra length on the two strips included to cut for the backsplash.
Do I need to apply glue to the Stretta endcap prior to adhering it to the countertop?
No, Stretta endcaps do not require glue as they have an adhesive with paper peel coat already applied. Just remove the paper backing and stick them to the end of the countertop surface.
